The first release from the mysterious anonymous unit/label, [Sorry We Play Vinyl]. Side A is a minimal house track that revolves for 11 minutes with Afro chants, light bongos, and subtly warped synths, never really going up or down. Side B-1 reinforces the bottom end of Janet Jackson's "Go Deep (Masters At Work Thunder Mix)" and transforms it into a more minimal arrangement. Side B-2 features 80s-style spacey synths reminiscent of Patrick Cowley and exotic vocals, making it a clever house edit collection. Recently, Ricardo Villalobos has been heavily playing all the tracks, and especially Side A, which gives off vibes similar to the classic [RAL] series. Highly recommended!
