Vintage JWK Bavaria Four Seasons plate — Summer. This sale is for the summer plate. Josef W Kuba opened his ceramic works in Czechoslovakia in 1930. He reopened in West Germany after World War II. The stamp on the reverse of the plate indicates this plate was made in the Bavaria works after World War II, between 1952 and 1972. Similar JWK stamps may include 1930, But that indicates the date of the original location opening, not the date the plate was produced. Kuba ceramics Made before World War II had Carlsbad on the stamp instead of Bavaria. This piece is in excellent condition with no apparent wear or damage. 7.5”
